Secure The Property

Hello friends and family, we hope you are well, safe and healthy.

We need your help.

We have recently been experiencing difficult times due to the pandemic. Our donations have dropped significantly but we have managed to stay afloat.

Unfortunately today we don’t live safe. In our city many people have lost their jobs, resulting in even more poverty. In one week, people broke into our house twice, the first time they searched our cars, they stole batteries, personal items and even the SENTRI passes of a family of our staff, but that day they only entered the parking lot. The second time they had the audacity to enter our house, the rooms, the kitchen, the storage and our living room. Thank God, none of our children were affected in any way. Food, backpacks, an iPad and a laptop were stolen with which the children and part of the staff did their homework.

We’ve taken extra safety measures to make our children safer. We stay awake in turns watching and praying and we hope they don’t plan something bigger. We need your help to build a security wall, since if you have ever come to our house, access to the parking lot is very easy. Only a thin wire fence divides us. We need to raise at least $7,000 to build an exterior wall, purchase an alarm system, have lights that detect movement, among other security measures that will not only protect our lives, but will also give our children a sense of security, they don’t deserve living in fear of someone coming in at night. Please help us give our children a safe house, remember that we are the only family they have and they deserve to feel calm and safe.
